Etudes Caribéenens is an online scientific journal founded in 2003 by Pascal Saffache and directed by Olivier Dehoorne. Multidisciplinary, it is recognized in the Caribbean area for its articles concerning the problems of island and tropical worlds (tourism, ecotourism, resource management, natural hazards, migration). == Présentation == Études caribéennes is a space of scientific expression publishing original works of young scientits and researchers. The main handled themes are the geography, development plan, Economy and social sciences (history, sociology, anthropology). The review proposes three issues annually. The published articles in French, English and Spanish are evaluated by an international scientific committee. Études caribéennes has joined revues.org since February 2008 to put online, in free access, its issues in their entirety, while keeping its available paper publication at Publibook. Furthermore, because of the support of the Human Sciences Institut, the Journal has received the CNRS label. Études caribéennes is also part of the digital library Manioc.
